This program is an invitation to learn how to facilitate cacao ceremonies with depth, clarity, and integrity.

Cacao is a beautiful and powerful plant medicine. Yet in this work, cacao is not the centrepiece, connection is.

Connection to the body.
Connection to emotions.
Connection between people.
Connection that feels safe, grounded, and real.

Cacao, like breathwork, is an amplifier.

It supports the nervous system, opens the heart space, and helps people soften into presence.

What truly shapes a meaningful ceremony, however, is the facilitator’s ability to hold space, guide group dynamics, and create conditions where trust and regulation can unfold.

Why work with cacao?

Ceremonial cacao has long been used to support heart-opening, emotional connection, and embodied presence.

From a physiological perspective, high-quality cacao can:

  • Support the release of serotonin, associated with wellbeing and emotional balance
  • Influence dopamine pathways related to pleasure, motivation, and engagement
  • Increase blood flow and somatic awareness, supporting embodied states of connection

These properties can gently support people in opening, feeling, and relating more honestly, when held within a safe and well-facilitated space.

This training honours both the traditional wisdom and the modern nervous system understanding of cacao work, without over-romanticising the medicine or bypassing responsibility.

What this training is really about

While you will learn how to work with cacao responsibly, this training goes far beyond cacao preparation.

The core focus is learning how to:

  • Facilitate deep, safe connection in group spaces
  • Guide people into their bodies with clarity and consent
  • Support emotional expression without overwhelm
  • Navigate group dynamics with confidence and sensitivity
  • Create rituals and exercises that feel grounded, playful, and meaningful
  • Recognise nervous system responses and work with them skilfully

This is nervous system–informed facilitation. Cacao becomes a supportive ally- not the driver - of the process.
